In most hallways there are recesses of non-standard size and these can be adapted for a small cloakroom or wardrobe. In this case, Komandor advises that the rooms be separated by installing a single suspended door without bottom guide bar or a traditional door made in the same style as the rest of the room.
Even tiny recesses can have a use. Where the installation of a folding or sliding door is impossible, a tilting door can be fitted creating a hidden place for shoes, books or seasonal items.
